Log Home Construction

Our log homes are hand-crafted using modern techniques during all stages of the log home package construction. Our log packages are not made from machined logs. Full length large diameter (14”-16” mid diameter) local pine logs are hand peeled and hand scribed tight. There is no chinking required.

The saddle notch combined with an" over-scribe" style of construction performs excellent by keeping the notches as tight as possible throughout the settling process.

A foam "P-gasket" insulator is placed between the logs in the notches and laterals. Installing the foam P-gasket throughout the entire log structure ensures a proper air and water tight seal.

• re-assembly on your foundation

All logs are treated with penetrating UV protection, keeping the logs as new looking and consistent as possible throughout the entire log package.
